PORT Adelaide has finalised its playing list for the 2015 season with three further players delisted, a rookie upgraded and a one-year contract extension given.

The Power has confirmed Kane Mitchell will be upgraded to the senior list for the 2015 season after the 24-year-old played the last two seasons as a rookie.

“Kane has got terrific endurance and a great attitude and he suits Kenny’s game style so we think he deserves a chance to be on the primary list,” Cripps said.

20-year-old Brendon Ah Chee has been offered a one year contract for 2015.

“We think Brendon took some significant steps forward with the Magpies this year and we’re going to give him that chance to go to the next level in 2015,” Cripps said.

Defender Lewis Stevenson will not be offered a contract for 2015.

List Manager Jason Cripps thanked Stevenson for his contribution to the club.

“Stevo has been a terrific person to have at Port Adelaide but there are always tough decisions to be made this time of year and we wish him all the best,” Cripps said.

Midfielder Ben Newton has decided not to accept a contract for 2015, and instead will go into the National Draft.

“Due to the strength of our midfield Newts played only six games this year and he has decided to see if there are better opportunities at another club so he will enter the draft," Cripps said.

“We understand and respect his decision.”   

Tom Logan will also be delisted but the club intends to pick up the 29-year-old in the rookie draft.

“Tommy is a great Port Adelaide person and we see this as the best way of keeping him involved,” Cripps said.

“He has played an important role with assisting in developing our younger players,” Cripps said.
