Following the Hit & Run UK performances of last year, the first US stop will be in Louisville, Kentucky on March 14th. 

Last year Prince and 3RDEyeGirl toured the UK spontaneously announcing performances via Twitter and played such legendary venues as Ronnie Scotts, Electric Ballroom and Shepherds Bush Empire. The tour was well received by critics and The Guardian said,“These are performances by one of the greatest funk-rock bands ever.” The band is kicking off the US part of the ”HIT & RUN” tour in Hannah Welton’s (from 3RDEYEGIRL) hometown.

Prince also released two chart-topping albums last year Art Official Age, which charted at number one for R&B and PLECTRUMELECTRUM,  the first collaborative album from PRINCE and 3RDEyeGirl, which debuted at number one for rock. Prince also announced that some of the proceeds from the Louisville tour will go to local charities. Tickets are on sale via LiveNation.com
