Just in time for the blistering hot California summer, Jessica Alba has cut off her long locks.

On Friday, the 33-year-old Honest Company CEO debuted her bob haircut on her Instagram account along with the caption: 'Uh on someone chopped off her hair!'

And the following day, the mother-of-two and her husband Cash Warren were spotted boarding a private plane at an airport in Van Nuys, California sporting her shorter hairdo.

Jessica took to her social media pages to show off her hair transformation courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Giannandrea.

'Thnk (sic) u @giannandrea1 4 the cute cut! Love it!' she captioned another Instagram post.

To which Giannandrea responded: 'Yesterday makeover for the girl with the most magnetizing smile @jessicaalba my version of the bob an A-line texturized, sharp silhouette. #giannandrea #haircut #hairstylist.'

Just hours before displaying her haircut at her company's event on Friday, Jessica was seen headed to a business meeting in Santa Monica with her shoulder length tresses blowing in the wind.

On Saturday, the Sin City actress and her spouse Cash geared up to depart from Van Nuys airport together without their two children Honor (aged six) and Haven (aged three).

Jessica was dressed comfortably in a pink pullover and patterned maxi dress while Cash opted for darker colors wearing a black T-shirt and grey trousers.
