Alfre Woodard’s annual “Oscar’s Sistahs Soiree” was the place to be. 

The event presented by by Elizabeth Taylor’s White Diamonds Lustre fragrance and Piper-Heidsieck, the exclusive Champagne of the Oscars,  honored Ava DuVernay and actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw. Aisha Tyler, Angela Bassett, Anika Noni Rose, Carmen Ejogo, CCH Pounder, Danai Gurira, Edwina Findley, Emayatzy Corinealdi, Jurnee Smollett, Kerry Washington, Khandi Alexander, Kim Wayans, LaTanya Richardson, Loretta Divine, Lorraine Toussaint, Lynn Whitfield, Margaret Avery, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Nicole Beharie, Rosario Dawson, Viola Davis, Yolonda Ross and Zoe Saldana were also in attendance.

The event took place at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel and was designed by David Merrell of AOO Events. Transportation was provided by Audi.
