The Australian Information Commissioner, Professor John McMillan has released an investigation report into freedom of information (FOI) processing at the Department of Human Services (DHS).

The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), headed by the Australian Information Commissioner (Professor John McMillan), Freedom of Information Commissioner (James Popple) and Privacy Commissioner (Timothy Pilgrim), welcomes the report to government by Dr Allan Hawke, reviewing the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act) and the Australian Information Commissioner Act 2010.
