He's never been one to take himself too seriously.

And Ryan Reynolds had a little fun on Twitter on Saturday when he got creative with Photoshop and pasted himself and wife Blake Lively onto an old picture of Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake.

The photo he chose just happened to be the iconic picture from 2001 when the pop duo were still dating and arrived to the American Music Awards in matching denim getups.

Ryan, 38, captioned his handiwork: 'The night started exactly as planned. But I take full responsibility for the denim condom. It was a mistake,'

The silly snap comes days after former Gossip Girl star Blake, 27, shared a composite showing her terrified-looking face on the body of a dancer being lifted into the air.

She captioned the photo: '...that one time. When I secretly joined a dance troop. @twerk4dci you ladies are awesome.' crediting the account who had masterfully constructed the image.

'She will probably make me pay for it.' The 38-year-old actor, seen in February, explained to AP this week why he and Blake, 27, are keeping their daughter's name under wraps

Earlier this week Ryan explained to Associated Press why he won't be revealing his newborn daughter's name anytime soon.

He said: 'There's zero secret about it. That little girl will grow up to be a teenager who will find out that I blurted her name out on national television and probably make me pay for it.'

'She will exact her revenge in searing, psychic pain,' the 38-year-old actor said with a laugh.

Ryan Reynolds says he'd use Blake Lively as human shield

Ryan and Blake welcomed their daughter some time in December but the couple, who were married in a secret South Carolina ceremony in September 2012, have never revealed the exact date their first child was born.

The Green Lantern actor stars with Helen Mirren and Katie Holmes in Woman In Gold, which premieres in theaters April 3.

The Simon Curtis directed flick is based on a true story about a Jewish refugee’s battle against the Austrian government to reclaim a family painting stolen by Nazis.
