Not so scary! Sarah Paulson dazzles in monochrome print dress as she leads cast of American Horror Story at PaleyFest

She played conjoined twins Bette and Dot on American Horror Story: Freak Show.

But Sarah Paulson was far from scary-looking as she attended the cast panel discussion at PaleyFest in Los Angeles on Sunday.

The 40-year-old actress appeared striking in a flowing monochrome print dress teamed with glossy red pointed-toe pumps.

During the panel, Jessica was asked by a fan if the casting of Lady Gaga would convince her to remain on board for the following season.

The Academy Award winning actress gave a very vague response, answering, ‘I don’t understand the question…’

When asked by a fan about her favourite line she has spoken on the show, Sarah responded, ‘I’m tough but I’m no cookie.’

Another audience member asked the cast – if they could create their own season and incorporate their worst fear, what it would be.

Michael Chiklis confessed that he has always been deathly afraid of suffocation.

At the end of the panel, it was announced that Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson have been cast as the new male leads in American Horror Story: Hotel.

‘I love collaborating with Ryan Murphy,’ Matt, 37, told The Hollywood Reporter. ‘It feels like this world where there are no bounds.’

He added that he could not ‘confirm or deny that there may be a romantic relationship’ with co-star Lady Gaga.

Jessica confirmed at the end that she will not be returning to the show in its fifth season.

Evan, 28, revealed he is not sure whether or not he will return, but seemed open to the option.

American Horror Story: Hotel will begin production on its 13 episodes in the late summer before debuting in October.
