And Emmy Rossum was shameless in her love of basketball when attended the San Antonio Spurs vs New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday.

The brunette beauty was exceptionally animated as she watched the competition from the sidelines, pulling a variety of rather over-the-top facial expressions as she saw the action take place.

Emmy joined Michael Strahan on the ABC morning show standing in for Kelly Ripa who is on holiday this week.

The couple welcomed celebrity guest Theo James who promoted his Insurgent, the follow up to blockbuster Divergent, which opens on Friday.

Meanwhile, Emmy was also on the promo trail during a radio interview with SiriusXM, where she talked up Showtime's Shameless.

Now in its fifth season, the dramedy sees her character Fiona marrying Gus (Steve Kazee) on the spur of the moment.

'Fiona isn't a very glamorous character, yet most fans see her as really sexy. So to play a woman on TV who doesn't wear a lot of makeup or fancy clothes, and to have that seen as a desirable woman is a really positive thing,' she said.
