Practicing for the baby! Pregnant Hilaria Baldwin takes daughter Carmen for a walk as the toddler pushes her dolls in a stroller

Carmen Baldwin is only 19 months old, but the toddler has already begun getting ready to take care of her future little brother.

The young daughter of Alec Baldwin, 56, and Hilaria Baldwin, 30, was spotted out with her mother on Tuesday in New York City.

While Hilaria kept a watchful eye on her daughter, little Carmen proudly pushed a stroller filled with a couple of her dolls.

Of course, Carmen is still far too young to attempt even fictional childcare without supervision.

That was why Hilaria, who almost six months pregnant, stayed within a step or two of her daughter at all times.

Both mother and daughter had dressed warmly in nice-looking but casual clothes for the walk.

Hilaria wore yoga-style leggings that ended just below her knees, exposing bare leg down to a pair of greyish moccasins.

The yoga enthusiast and blogger kept warm on top with a heavy grey cardigan that she kept pulled closed over her growing baby bump.

A pea-green and white scarf was wrapped loosely around Hilaria's neck as well.

While any makeup she wore was kept to a minimum, Hilaria had pulled her hair into a high ponytail that left bangs across the woman's forehead.

As for young Carmen, pink was definitely her colour of choice - the girl's jacket, tights, shoes, and stroller were all of this hue.

Carmen added a little variety to the outfit with dark blue denim shorts, a white and furry hood, and a mint-green bow tied into her wispy blonde hair.

Her stroller held a little boy doll at all times, who was sometimes joined by a girl doll with spiky black hair.

The Baldwins announced Hilaria's second pregnancy on January 1 and quickly confirmed that they expected a boy.

Hilaria has spent the past few months documenting her pregnancy and diet with photos posted regularly to Instagram.
