Bags of style! Off-duty Christine Bleakley keeps it fashionable in skinny jeans and designer boots as she runs errands

She may be temporarily solo with her beau, Frank Lampard, being away in Spain.

But TV presenter Christine Bleakley isn't letting her style standards drop - as she proved when she stepped out to run errands in central London on Wednesday. 

The brunette beauty kept it simple and stylish as she went shopping for necessities - just 24 hours after her man made his way abroad to play in the Champions League.

Wearing a pair of figure-hugging skinny jeans with a white crew-neck top and a biscuit-coloured cashmere jacket, she matched her look a designer handbag in burnt orange.

She capped the look with a pair of Isabel Marant ankle boots, which - rather impressively - retail for more than £629. 

Keeping it real, however, she also lugged some Marks & Spencer carrier bags - which featured, among other things, a bunch of daffodils.

Sporting her hair in a casual style, she also wore a light dusting of make-up - but still looked to be pining for her footballer partner. 

Frank, an all-time record goalscorer for Chelsea, joined affiliate club New York City for the first time in August 2014 but made the move to the Manchester club this January and will stay there until the end of the season. 

Christine, who has been Frank's fiance since 2011, couldn't seem to hide her longing.

The footballer, who was recently put forward for the Kensington seat as an MP for the London Borough, recently opened up about his dedication to daughters Luna, nine, and Isla, seven - who he had with his ex partner Elen Rivas.

He said: 'One of the best things in life is that bedtime reading thing when you are interacting with your child and picking them up on the school run.'

Lampard said he tries to spend 20 minutes every weekday evening reading with them and explained how he expects it to be just as important for men to do their bit around the house as it is for mothers.

'It applies to footballers, too,' he continued. 'A lot of players I know with young kids are involved in reading bedtime stories with them or getting up in the night and doing feeds.

'It's a pig-headed, old-fashioned view to say mums should do all the work at home. Dads are eager to shoulder some too. We have all moved on a little bit.'

Christine recently admitted that his daughters, who she calls her 'little mates' are desperate for the pair to have babies.

And the television personality has recently rotated out of her maternity cover for Holly Willoughby on This Morning as she continues to share the job with Amanda Holden.
