'I don't remember!' Mad Men star Elisabeth Moss refuses to discuss the show's final season but admits she is happy to have swapped tight girdles for baggy sweatpants

It's been almost a year since the cast of Mad Men filmed their final scenes, but Elisabeth Moss, who played the ambitious Peggy Olson for seven seasons, has admitted that she would be happy to never see one of her character’s binding girdles again – let alone wear one.

The 32-year-old star of the award-winning AMC series has been in New York City for the past few weeks preparing for the Broadway revival of The Heidi Chronicles, which opens tomorrow. And while, the play does require her to wear some late 1960s garb, her chosen rehearsal looks are a far cry from Peggy's cinched-waist dresses.

'I usually wear sweatpants or jeans with holes in them,' she told the New York Post.

Mad Men may seem like a lifetime ago for the busy actress, but fans of the show are still preparing to say goodbye to its beloved characters when the final season debuts on April 5.

And while the world is clamoring to get a sneak peek at what the seventh and final season will include, Elisabeth refused to let slip any details – and even joked that she doesn't actually remember how it ends when asked to give some clues as to what will happen to the show's protagonist Don Draper.

'Can't tell ya,' she told the publication with a laugh. 'Luckily, I don't remember. There've been four movies since then and now Heidi.'

Although Elisabeth said she will miss her 'boys' Jon Hamm and John Slattery, who play Don Draper and Roger Sterling, respectively, she noted that there is a part of her that 'definitely thinks it's time'.

'I think it's great the way it ends,' she added without sharing any further details

But Elisabeth did share one on-set secret from the show – the key to her luminous skin, a Koh Gen Do foundation.

She explained that Koh Gen Do was the brand the make-up artists used on the show, and added that she now won't 'use anything else'.

And while Elisabeth was willing to share the contents of her make-up bag, the TV star wasn’t eager to rehash her divorce to comedian Fred Armisen in 2011.

When the two divorced after less than a year of marriage, Elisabeth famously told Page Six that 'the greatest impersonation he does is that of a normal person'.

But during this interview she said it was time to move on from talking about her ex.

'I’m definitely a little older and a little wiser, and you do learn from your mistakes and grow up a little,' she said. 'I’m a hopeless romantic and always will be.'
