Jennifer Garner was a good sport when she hit by a pie in the face during her Tonight Show appearance.

On Tuesday, the 42-year-old actress stopped by Studio 6B at Rockefeller Center in New York City to chat with late night talk show host Jimmy Fallon and participated in a fun game of Rock, Paper, Scissors, Pie.

The Danny Collins star - who is married to actor Ben Affleck - was defeated several times while playing the hand game with the 40-year-old emcee soon after admitting she got a little too tipsy off the green coloured beers the pair guzzled in honor of St Patrick's Day.

Being a good sport: The 42-year-old actress also participated in a fun game of Rock, Paper, Scissors, Pie during her late night appearance

Jennifer looked chic dressed in a black and white Roland Mouret long sleeve design which she accessorized with strappy Brian Atwood heels.

The mother-of-three made her entrance by holding a glass of green beer in each hand, one for her and one for Jimmy.

Jennifer, being the competitive spirit that she is, challenged the host to a beer chugging contest when she saw that her cup was more empty than his.

Rock, paper, scissors... pie! The hilarious game is just like it sounds, whoever lost rock, paper, scissors had to test their fate by clicking on their designated lever to see if they would get cream pie thrown in their face

Ha-ha! The 40-year-old emcee won the game both times they played and pointed while laughing when he witnessed the mother-of-three get pied

'Come on baby,' provoked Jennifer. And after she beat Jimmy in the drinking dare, she confessed that her tolerance for alcohol is not as high as she would like it to be.

'I win! I'm such a lightweight though,' she said.

From one food contest to another, Jennifer and Jimmy took part in one of the fan favorite games on the show: Rock, Paper, Scissors, Pie.

Jennifer - who admitted she had to attend a Broadway play after - unfortunately lost both times and got not one, but two pastry dishes catapulted on her flawless complexion.

The star was promoting her latest film, Danny Collins which tells the story of an aging rock star (Al Pacino) who decides to change his life when he discovers a 40-year old letter written to him by John Lennon.

The Dan Fogelman-directed movie is out on limited release on March 20.
