“I bet ya never seen a pair of kicks like mine” – Wale

Following the release of his “Festivus” mixtape Wale is preparing to release his fourth major-label project, The Album About Nothing. In the current age of one and done rappers it’s a rare occurrence to make it to a fourth album, let alone the ability to craft an album that relates to the beginning of his career. While many know Wale for his slick flow and bars, he’s also highly regarded as one of the biggest sneakerheads in Hip-Hop. Wale took to his Instagram page to prove that theory by showcasing his huge collection of kicks while promoting his upcoming album. Wale’s collection included Red Octobers, Kobe 9 Lows, and various Air Jordan retros.  Keep an eye out for Wale’s album The Album About Nothing, set to drop March 31, 2014.
