When researching, sometimes the results are not as expected… but hey! that is all good, its a matter of trying and failing and trying again..
or so they say :P
We love to buy and analize one by one as many B&W film as possible, no matter if fresh or expired.
So I bought this amazingly cared Afga Isopan ASA125 Expired in 1983, and I thought it could still be used.
I enjoyed so much the unpacking, it comes in a tiny packaging that makes me think how much cardboard waste is been done after this era by making boxes bigger to fit the plastic containers… Anyway, I loaded in the Ricoh GR1s, took it with me to Spain, shot carefully framed photos but for my surprise when sent to process…nothing came out!
In fact not all of it was blank, at the end of the roll, some of the overexposed areas appear captured, which gives me some hope…I’ll buy another film and try luck ( which means £20 + £11 process ). This time maybe i’ll load it in another camera so I can try pushing the ISO higher.
