With John Cena's torn pectoral muscle taking him out of ring action for the next six to eight months, he has no choice but to relinquish his WWE Championship. So what does that mean come No Mercy this Sunday, the Last Man Standing Match against No. 1 Contender Randy Orton, or the landscape of Raw? These are all questions that must be answered in the ensuing days ahead, but WWE.com got a head-start at a WWE live event by asking several SmackDown and ECW Superstars to weigh in with their comments.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- WWE Champion John Cena has suffered a complete tear of his right pectoral tendon and is heading into surgery, according to noted orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews. Because of the seriousness of the injury, WWE officials will not allow Cena to compete this Sunday at No Mercy, and he will have no choice but to surrender the title.

After news broke that John Cena would be out of action for 6-8 months because of a torn pec and would have to surrender the WWE Championship, our fans on hand at tonight's ECW event in Dayton, Ohio, had an immediate -- and varied -- reaction.

When Mr. McMahon wants to teach a Superstar a lesson, he brings in the heavy equipment. Tonight in Cleveland, Triple H got a taste of McMahon's mental chicanery, as well as a beating from a Bulldozer.

CLEVELAND -- As babysitting assignments go, this one was a doozy. On Monday night, Raw General Manager William Regal did his best Mary Poppins impersonation when he was forced to play male nanny, or "manny," to Hornswoggle.

CLEVELAND -- Rain poured on the crowd of WWE and Cleveland fans who gathered tonight at Gateway Plaza -- an enclosed area between Jacobs Field and the Quicken Loans Arena, home of tonight's Raw. The weather was gloomy, but the excitement of the Indians fans that came to "Rally Monday" to celebrate the Tribe's first post-season appearance since 2001 was something that couldn't be waterlogged.

CLEVELAND -- When Hornswoggle learned he was a McMahon -- and the power that went with it -- it was as if he'd been handed the keys to the family car. With a little help from a booster seat and a stick to reach the pedals, the little guy can now steer the WWE in any direction he sees fit -- just like his dear old dad, Mr. McMahon.

For the first time ever -- and with his Last Man Standing Match with Randy Orton at No Mercy less than a week away -- WWE Champion John Cena will battle Mr. Kennedy tonight on Raw.

CLEVELAND -- A faint, evil smile crept across Randy Orton's lips as his vacant eyes burned a hole into a fallen John Cena. He believed he was looking into the future, and that next week, he would walk into Raw as the new WWE Champion.

CLEVELAND - Women's Champion Candice Michelle continues to ruffle the feathers of rival Beth Phoenix. When it was announced that the two Divas will once again face off for the title at No Mercy, the Glamazon strided to the ring. Candice Michelle stormed the ring and delivered a severe clothes-line that sent Phoenix out of the ring. The incident left little doubt that the fur will continue to fly between these two, especially this Sunday at No Mercy.

Since Hornswoggle found out he's the bastard son of Mr. McMahon, the lucky little leprechaun has been wreaking havoc around WWE. Hornswoggle's nanny, er… manny, er… caretaker for the night, Raw GM William Regal, didn't find much luck when it came to watching over the little one, as evidenced Monday night on Raw. And Mr. McMahon's Executive Assistant had difficulty controlling the newest McMahon as well.
