Rachael sported a short, floral dress, but bundled up in a puffy white winter jacket with a fur-lined hood.

Her blonde locks were styled into a center part and slicked back, and she sported a bright pink lipstick.

Carrie-Anne donned a fitted black dress, over which she wore a long, brown peacoat to protect her from the cool New York weather.

Both women sported sleek black heels, and were filmed embracing each other for the passionate scenes.

At first Carrie-Anne was spotted seemingly wrestling with a third woman, who wore a grey jacket, fitted brown trousers, and brown booties.

She tossed the woman around, pressing her up against the railing outside of a New York City restaurant.

However, she was later seen with Rachael, who had been off to the side for the scuffle, after which the two shared an embrace before kissing.

Marvel announced in January that Transformers actress Rachael would be joining the cast as Trish Walker.

She is described as: 'a syndicated radio talk show host, former model, and child TV star known to her adoring fans as 'Patsy' Walker. As Jessica's closest friend, Trish helps her embark on the most dangerous case of Jessica's career.'

Melissa Rosenberg, Executive Producer/Showrunner for A.K.A. Jessica Jones, was excited to announce the addition of Rachael, sharing: 'The character is a star and a powerhouse, and required an actress who is both,' she continued. 'Rachael is all that and more!'

Then in February Marvel announced the addition of Carrie-Anne as Harper, 'a no-nonsense woman who could prove a powerful ally to Jessica... if Jessica doesn't completely alienate her first.'

Melissa also had kind words for Carrie-Anne, who starred as Trinity in all three films of the Matrix trilogy, saying: 'Throughout her career, Carrie-Anne has embodied a wide range of characters in a compelling and relatable way and I have no doubt she will bring that talent to A.K.A. Jessica Jones.'

Screenrant commented that the character of Harper appeared to be an original one created for the series, and not stemming from the Jessica Jones comics.

Rachael and Carrie-Anne join Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, and David Tennant as Purple Man in the upcoming Marvel series.

The hotly anticipated series comes as part of a list of scheduled releases by Netflix, based on Marvel heroes The Defenders: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist.

Daredevil will premiere on Netflix on April 1, with A.K.A. Jessica Jones expected to follow later on in 2015.
