Salma Hayek wows in forest green dress as she cosies up to husband François-Henri Pinault at store opening bash

There are definite advantages to being married to the owner of a French luxury goods company and Salma Hayek is certainly reaping the rewards.

The 48-year-old actress' spouse François-Henri Pinault owns Kering, which controls brands including Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Brioni, Gucci, Puma and Christopher Kane, for which the pair attended a bash in London on Tuesday night.

Salma and her husband put on a loving display at the label's flagship store opening in the English capital, where the Mexican starlet wowed in a forest green dress.

She accessorised with fuschia shoes, belt and a matching handbag and left her curly hair loose around her face.

Her 52-year-old husband was dapper in an elegant suit with a white shirt as he posed for pictures with his wife.

Still appearing to be as in love as when they first met, Salma and her husband only had eyes for each other on Monday evening.

And she recently opened up about what feminism means to her in a new interview with The Guardian's G2 magazine, explaining that she's passionate about women and 'making the world a better place'.

The actress is tired of women being set unrealistic and 'crazy' expectations both professionally and physically.

Salma told the publication: 'You have to be much better than your male colleagues, just so you can maybe try and get the same salary as them.

She added that women everywhere need to give themselves 'a break' from the intense pressure society puts them under.

Salma has first-hand experience of sexism since she was warned by Hollywood casting agents her career would fade when she reached a certain age.

'They said I wouldn't be working after 35!', laughed the star - who has five films scheduled for release this year.
