Cindy Crawford is well recognized as a timeless beauty.

But the 49-year-old supermodel revealed she went through an awkward stage with a vintage photo from her childhood on her Instagram account appropriately for Throwback Thursday.

The mother-of-two, who grew up in Dekalb, Illinois, posed alongside her sisters Danielle and Chris in the snap, which she captioned: 'Some home-made dresses and braces for #tbt!'
