Two to tango! Chris Soules and Witney Carson take in a day of rehearsals before week three of Dancing With The Stars

Having posted surprisingly low scores in the second week of Dancing With The Stars, Chris Soules and Witney Carson were working hard at rehearsals on Saturday.

The 33-year-old former Bachelor star and his 21-year-old professional dance partner were spotted at the reality competition's Los Angeles rehearsal studios.

With the always tricky Argentine tango facing them on Monday, Chris and Witney may have needed all the practice they could get.

Chris stuck to a casual style for his gruelling dance rehearsal, starting with a plain white T-shirt worn underneath a light grey sweatshirt.

He also sported knee-length grey shorts, as well as Nike trainers in black, grey, and red.

Witney, meanwhile, showed up for work in a simple black T-shirt and shorts, her curly blonde hair worn loose and long down the back.

By the time rehearsals ended, Witney had traded in that look for a black halter top and matching black leggings.

High-top, black trainers completed the young ballroom dancer's look.

Although they started out strong in the first week of Dancing With The Stars season 20, Chris and Witney saw a major dip in scores for week two.

The couple had earned 26 points for their jive performance during the premiere episode, good enough for a three-way tie for fifth place.

But when week two came around, Chris and Witney couldn't quite manage the same excellence with their cha-cha.

Earning only 21 points from the DWTS judges, Chris and Witney landed in last place out of the 12 couples dancing that night.

They were even out-performed by Redfoo and Emma Slater, the couple that was eliminated at the end of Monday's show.

A strong performance on the next Monday, however, could help keep Chris and Witney safe to dance again - both week two and week three will be taken into consideration for the elimination choice.

On The Bachelor, Chris had his pick of beautiful women interested in marrying the farmer from Iowa.

He eventually chose Whitney Bischoff, a nurse from Chicago, and proposed to her on The Bachelor's season finale earlier in March.
