Floral fright! Lily Allen wears eccentric pink costume as she performs for Monaco's elite at Rose Ball

Lily Allen certainly seems to have made an impact on Monaco's elite.

By their request, the 29-year-old took to the stage at the Rose Ball 2015 in aid of the Princess Grace Foundation at Sporting Monte-Carlo on Saturday, but it was her eye-catching outfit that caused the biggest stir on the night.

The singer ensured she was the centre of attention in a neon pink cloak complete with a massive floral headpiece.

As she belted out a string of her hits, royal socialites jumped out of their seats and hit the dance floor to throw a few shapes to her catchy music.

Charlotte Casiraghi, Beatrice Borromeo and Pierre Casiraghi were all seen taking to the dance floor for the good cause as Lily belted out her classics through the speakers.

Clearly no expense was spared for the performance as Lily's costume and set design were both created by Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld.

On or off stage, go for a fringed dress like Lily

When you've got Karl Lagerfeld on speed dial, you know who to call when you've got a special, one off gig to perform. And Lily Allen did just that here. The lucky songstress wore a custom made Chanel sequinned fringed dress by the king of fashion himself!

It's not the first time she has donned Chanel. She's a big fan of the French fashion house, often seen at the fashion week shows and events. This dress is perfect for Lily and the stage!

Lily came on wearing the pink velour coat, with dramatic rose collar, which actually makes this whole look a bit... tacky. We much preferred the dress on its own. And if you look closely, you can see there is pink running through the dress too.

This whole creation was inspired by the recent Chanel spring 2015 couture collection, which featured some shredded fringing and 3D flower appliqués. Fringing is having a moment for Spring Summer, so take inspiration from Lily's look with a fringed dress from the options below.

The fashion king was also in attendance at the party, missing a retrospective of his work in Germany to make an appearance.

However, the designer undoubtedly thought the sacrifice was worth it as Lily put her all into the performance.

Shortly after showcasing Mr Lagerfeld's pink number, Lily peeled off her cape to reveal a plunging sequin dress.

Thanks to her new short platinum blonde locks, the singer is currently looking more elegant than ever.

She first unveiled her new locks on Instagram a few days ago, where she revealed her hairdresser Martyn Harper was responsible for her latest look.

Lily may also have another incentive to stay in California, as recent reports claim that she is in talks to star in the second Fifty Shades Of Grey movie.

The Daily Mirror reports that she recently met with director Sam Taylor-Johnson at Hollywood's Chateau Marmont, where it is said they chatted for 90 minutes about a possible role.

A source said: 'They were definitely making some plans. They are friends, and move in the same circles in London, they're in that trendy set. Lily would be the perfect person to work on the next Fifty Shades movie.'
