Carrie Underwood shares first full snap of newborn son Isaiah holding a mini hockey stick representing his father's team

She became a mother for the first time a month ago.

And Carrie Underwood gave the first full look at her adorable baby boy on Sunday as she posted a delightful photo of Isaiah Michael Fisher on her Instagram.

The 32-year-old country singer upped the cuteness factor in the image as she set a mini hockey stick with the logo of the Nashville Predators gently on top of him during his slumber.

The NHL hockey franchise is the team that Carrie's husband and father to the newborn, Mike Fisher, plays for as the team just clinched a playoff spot.

The Blown Away singer posted the image to her 1.7m fans with the caption: 'The Predators are in the playoffs! Just waiting to get called up! #PutMeInCoach. 

Back on March 3, Carrie posted a picture of her son's tiny hands and feet to Instagram on Tuesday to announce the happy news.

The singer, who previously hinted that she was expecting a baby boy, also revealed his name in the adoring post. 

The Blown Away singer wrote: 'Tiny hands and tiny feet...God has blessed us with an amazing gift! Isaiah Michael Fisher - born on February 27. Welcome to the world, sweet angel!'

Carrie and her professional hockey player husband, Mike, welcomed the child as they had met in 2008 at one of Carrie's concerts and were engaged by 2009.

Yummy mummy-to-be, Carrie Underwood, took the American Country Countdown Awards last month as an opportunity to show off her burgeoning bump!

'The inspiration for this line came from my desire to have clothes that seamlessly take me from workouts, to errands, to rehearsals and beyond,' she said.

While pregnant last year, the star not only launched a clothing line and stayed busy with her music career she also under went a miniature remodel.  

‘I’ve been picking out patterns, rugs, furniture, stuff like that,’ she said during a spot on The Today Show, ‘I don’t think there’s any way for us to actually fathom how our lives are about to change.’
