After garnering much attention for her selection of revealing outfits, Rita Ora has reportedly been banned from wearing anything risqué on future episodes of The Voice.

According to The Sun, the 24-year-old has been ordered to cover up by BBC bosses, who are said to have frowned upon her most recent outfits - including a nipple-baring sheer top and a T-shirt emblazoned with a graphic image of breasts.

And even while promoting her debut stint on The Voice ahead of the current series kicking off, Rita attracted complaints when she appeared on The One Show in a deeply plunging top.

A source told the newspaper: 'Bosses didn't get involved when viewers complained about the revealing suit she wore on The One Show in January.

'But the T-shirt was felt to be close to the mark - and her see-through top took her right over it.'

However, while she may sport a tamer look for the show going forward, a pal of the star told The Sun: 'She isn't going to start dressing like a nun. That's not her style.'

Last week, the Hot Right Now singer caused a sensation when she attended Charli XCX's London gig in a sheer black polo neck, which clearly showed her protruding nipples.

On Saturday, Rita suffered great disappointment when she lost all of her acts in the semi-finals.

The pop starlet failed to get her acts into the final as her contestants Karis and Joe lost out on a place to finalists Sasha Simone, Emmanuel Nwamadi, Stevie McCrorie and Lucy O'Bryne.

Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson was the only coach to get both of his acts - Emmanuel and Stevie - into the final, while Will.i.am and Sir Tom both have a contestant in the running to be crowned the winner of series four.

Rita admitted: 'Both of my artists chose their songs. I had nothing to do with the choices this week. My artists know what they want and I am happy with it.'
