A night after watching her sci-fi epic, Interstellar, scoop Best Film and Best Director honours at the Jameson Empire Awards, Jessica Chastain stepped out for a live incarnation of the film.

The redhead beauty made her way to London's Royal Albert Hall for the special screening of Interstellar Live, which featured a live score performed by Hans Zimmer and a 60-piece orchestra.

California native Jessica, 38, wowed as she arrived at the event on Monday in a black minidress, which boasted a white rounded collar and a grey, graphic-printed tie.

She slipped her shapely legs into a pair of sheer black tights, while she stood tall in a matching pair of towering heels.

With her glossy red locks swept to one side, Jessica's natural beauty was enhanced with a light dusting of make-up as she braved the inclement weather on the glamorous night.

And she was in great company at the event, rubbing shoulders with the likes of the film's director, Christopher Nolan, and professors Stephen Hawking and Brian Cox.

Also on hand for the festivities was Jessica's co-star, Sir Michael Caine, who arrived with his stunning former beauty queen wife, Shakira, by his side.

The film - boasting a cast that includes Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway and Matt Damon - was screened for the VIP crowd while a 60-piece orchestra performed Hans' original Oscar-nominated score.

Interstellar's official website states: 'Described by Zimmer as his "most personal score", this epic music is one of the most important film scores of recent years; at once exhilarating, spectacular, pulsating and deeply moving.'

A night before, Jessica Chastain and Christopher Nolan were on hand to receive two of the night's biggest honours at the Empire Awards, held at the English capital's Grosvenor House Hotel.

Taking to her Instagram account to share a shot of herself posing with Christopher and his producer wife, Emma Thomas, Jessica wrote: 'Finally this guy is getting his due respect.'

Since its release late last year, acclaimed movie Interstellar has gone on to earn a colossal $672.7 million at the international box office.
