She was journeying by air, but Mel B whipped out a nautical themed top for her flight out of LAX on Monday.

The 39-year-old's striped red and grey top coordinated perfectly with her sweatpants, which featured a similar design along the bottom of the left leg.

Mel was clearly in the mood for comfort when she arrived to the transport hub clad in the cosy look.

The songbird slicked her strands back into a taut hairdo, with not a single fly-away dangling over her flawless face.

However, Mel preferred to keep her blemish-free complexion concealed with a pair of over sized sunglasses.

The mother-of-three looked radiant with a refreshing coat of blush and foundation, while her glittering jewellery added a little glam.

Not pictured with the Spice Girls singer was her husband of seven years, Stephen Belafonte.

The couple's relationship came under scrutiny last Christmas, after Mel was forced to miss an episode of The X Factor due to being hospitalized, shortly before the show's finale.

And when she did make her return on December 14, fans on Twitter said they thought the singer appeared bruised and scratched, noting that she wasn't wearing her wedding ring either.

The couple swiftly became embroiled in domestic violence claims, which they vehemently denied.

It was alleged that the TV judge had left Stephen before she was rushed to hospital - which caused her to miss the first live show on December 13, during the ITV singing competition's final weekend.

However, she later revealed in a video posted online that all is well in her marriage following much speculation - and that she and husband Stephen are 'madly in love.'

The couple recently enjoyed a getaway to San Francisco, where Mel celebrated the launch of PingTank on Facebook Messenger.

PingTank is a new app Mel had invested in, according to BizJournal.

A photo of the twosome posing inside the city was captioned on Wednesday: 'With my baby boo in San Fran launching @pingtankapp whoop whoop'.

Meanwhile, Mel's former bandmate Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) revealed a Spice Girl reunion may be in the cards - but only if 'the timing is right.'

'I was with Geri (Halliwell) and Mel B just recently, we love each other and we love performing together. It's just when the timing is right because we all have our own careers now and we have families - it's just about getting five schedules together and that's all it is,' Emma told Now magazine in the UK.
