Kim Kardashian is as known for her make-up contouring as she is for her famous derriere.

And now the reality star has shared a snap to her Instagram page to give her fans a little tip on achieving her make-up look themselves.

Posting a selfie, Kim displayed just where the contouring lines are applied in order to achieve her streamlined look.

'Kontour!!!! Not finished with my make up yet but wanted to share a pic of some contouring make up tricks! (sic),' Kardashian captioned the image.

Kim has managed to achieve this popular contouring style with the help of her make-up artist Mario Dedivanovic.

Speaking to Grazia Middle East, Mario shared his top tips for defining Kim's face.

'Always use a beauty blender sponge to blend in the layers of the product,' he advises. 'I apply some along her cheek bones to give a dewy effect, on the bridge of her nose and Cupid's bow and I also sweep it along her decolletage, shoulders and arms,' he added.

'To keep Kim looking fresh from day to evening, I use TATCHA Blotting Papers, which keep the skin from getting muddy in the heat,' he concludes.

He also explained that to play up the drama of Kim's eyes, he uses a darker shade along her eye crease and a really light one to highlight her brow bone.

Kim apparently loves wearing golden hues along her bottom lash and he uses liquid eyeliner 'winged up and out' to complete the look.

Mario, who met Kim on a make-up shoot in New York more than five years ago, has managed to secure his own following of fans wanting to learn from him he tricks of the contouring trade.

Though Kim could have used a little help recently during Paris Fashion Week, when she had paid less attention to her make-up and stepped out with a brown line running down her nose which hadn't been blended properly.

Darkening the centre of the nose and highlighting the sides is a make-up artist's trick for making the feature look thin and straight.
