Josh Duhamel fully embraced April Fools' Day this year - and was sure to cause a female fan frenzy in the process.

'Taking a little break from acting to pursue my love of nude meditation,' the 42-year-old actor joked on Instagram on Wednesday.

He posted a snap of a naked man sitting on a cliff while meditating within the confines of green canyons (it's unclear if it was really him or an unidentified yogi).

The subject's derriere is clearly visible as he sits lotus style, resting his wrists over his knees and accessorising with a headdress.

The husband of Fergie was clearly kidding, as he just began filming the forthcoming thriller, Beyond Deceit, last Thursday.

The Hollywood hunk filled the shoes of previously cast Downton Abbey star, Dan Stevens, who dropped out last month due to scheduling conflicts with the remake of Beauty And The Beast.

The Battle Creek star will be taking on the role of a young and ambitious laywer who takes on the case of a lifetime against a powerful pharmaceutical company.

Josh stars alongside Al Pacino, 74, who plays the head of the lawfirm, as well as Duhamel's mentor when his case goes south, and he finds himself as the main murder suspect in a whirl of blackmail and corruption.

The $11m budget film includes stars such as Sir Anthony Hopkins, Skye P. Marshall, Alice Eve, and Malin Akerman.

The film is set to release on February 26, 2016 and will be the directing debut for screenwriter Shintaro Shimosawa.

Actress Skye P. Marshall shared on her instagram playfull moments between scenes with the hunky Actor Josh Duhamel and was spotted on set with Al Pacino which is currently filming in New Orleans.

Al Pacino stars as the head of the law firm, as well as Josh's mentor when his case goes south and he finds himself as the main murder suspect in a whirl of blackmail and corruption.

Meanwhile, Josh's wife Fergie recently celebrated her 40th birthday with an old Hollywood-themed bash at the couple's Brentwood home.

The L.A. Love (la la) crooner, who is also mother to the couple's one-year-old son Axl, has been busy recording her latest album.

Josh recently spoke about how he hopes to grow his family with Fergie - as soon as she has time.

He told Extra: 'I would love to, she would love to, but right now it’s about figuring out when it’s going to happen.

'She’s recording and probably going on tour, and the plan is sometime after that, maybe before... Maybe I can knock her up tonight.'
