May the force be with you! Carrie Fisher looks happy and healthy as she headlines Fan Expo Vancouver with William Shatner

Last month, she expressed her fears of a curse on the cast of Star Wars, after suffering a minor car accident.

But it seems the force is with Carrie Fisher, known for playing Princess Leia in the original Star Wars trilogy, and she has suffered no further harm from this hypothetical curse.

The 58-year-old actress, appeared healthy and happy as she headlined Fan Expo Vancouver alongside Star Trek actor William Shatner on Sunday.

The Force Awakens, taking place 30 years after the events of episode VI – Return Of The Jedi (1983), will feature Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong'o, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac and Gwendoline Christie.

Meanwhile, Carrie seems to be doing well despite feeling shaken up after a minor car accident last month, shortly before her former co-star Harrison Ford suffered a plane crash on March 5.

'Things happen in threes,' she told The Mail On Sunday at the time. 'I'm about to call Mark Hamill to make sure he's OK. I have a horrid feeling there's a curse going on here.'

Carrie detailed her traffic incident: 'What is funny is that last Sunday it was raining hard in LA. I was driving to the art store and I got into an accident.

'It wasn't that serious and I wasn't hurt but it's the first car accident I've ever had. I drove home and that's when the wheel came off my BMW.

'My assistant told me I could have died if the wheel had come off when I was on the freeway.'

Laughing, she added: 'Then I was watching the news and saw Harrison had his crash. I'm a bit worried it's the curse of Star Wars.'
