I'm lightning on my feet! Taylor Swift races younger brother Austin in a VERY heated Easter egg hunt at home in Nashville

She may be one of the biggest stars on the planet but at heart she's still an older sister who won't cut her younger brother any slack.

Taylor Swift, 25, proved Sunday that sibling rivalry is alive and well in the Swift household as she went all out to beat her brother Austin, 23, in an Easter Egg hunt set up for them by their parents.

In videos she shared on Instagram, the Shake It Off singer can be seen racing around the backyard of the family home, plucking colored eggs from bushes.

At one point, the singer-songwriter can be seen hitting Austin with her egg-filled bag to get him to let go after he grabbed by the wrist to try and slow her down.

Showing the same drive and determination that's turned her into a global phenomenon, Taylor was clearly taking no prisoners in the brother-sister contest.

Alongside one video post she pointedly took a swipe at her brother, writing: 'I'VE GOT LIKE A HUNDRED GOOD LUCK'.

And revealing something of what it must have been like when the two of them were growing up together, she wrote next to another video: 'When your parents arrange a competitive sibling Easter egg hunt, failing to take into account that their children are Ross and Monica.'

In the hit series Friends, Monica, played by Courtney Cox,  and Ross, played by David Schwimmer, were famous for their sibling rivalry and competitive natures, especially around their parents.

All in all, it was a fun-filled Easter weekend for Taylor and a chance for the star to relax with fmaily and close friend.

On Saturday night, she celebrated her best friend Abigail Anderson's 25th birthday at a pink-themed bash in Nashville.

The award-winning artist has known Abigail since they were freshman together at high school in Tennessee in 2005.

And the besties obviously had a fabulously fun time as they partied away on Saturday night, judging from the photo booth snaps Taylor shared with the world on Sunday.

Be top of the crops like Taylor in For Love and Lemons

Can whiter than white Taylor Swift do no wrong? While she's the A-list of A-list celebrities, she surprises her fans with presents, even turning up to a little girl's house who was terminally ill - she really has got a huge heart. And now, for her high school best friend, Abigail, she pulled off the biggest surprise for her birthday - using her celebrity status to get Dashboard Confessional front man to sing to her pal at her party.

The night was clearly a huge success and Taylor seemed to be enjoying herself, partying the night away in a For Love and Lemons co-ord set. The brand is a huge hit with celebrities with the likes of Kendall Jenner, Lindsay Lohan and Jenna Malone all rocking it on several occasions. But the best bit? It's affordable for us non-celeb 9-5 kind of girls too, hooray! Finally something A-list we can all afford to don.

Taylor's lace crop is available to buy now at Nasty Gal(right) and then head below to get the matching skirt - co-ordinates are so in don't you know!

Taylor wore a pretty white lace skirt and matching top and a splash of scarlet red lipstick and playfully posed with her longtime BFF wearing a pretty pink hairband.

Abigail wore a little princess tiara over her red-blonde curls and a sheer silver patterned dress.

On Sunday, she shared the photo of them together along with the caption: 'Hands down this is the best day I can ever remember. I’ll always remember. @taylorswift, Abigail'.

Down-to-earth:  Proving old friends matter, the Fearless singer made time to make sure her friend, whom she's remained close to since 2005,  had a great birthday

Proving she's got her feet firmly planted in the real world, Taylor has stayed close to her old school friend even as she achieved global fame and as her circle of Hollywood pals grows ever wider.

In fact, the singer-songwriter even took Abigail as her date to the 2015 Grammys.

And she credited her as the inspiration for the song Fifteen, which was about their experiences falling in love and having their hearts broken during their first year in high school.

in an interview with Entertainment Tonight last October, Taylor revealed part of the reason why the two remain so close despite their very different lives.

'A good girlfriend for me is someone who is an individual and has something that they are deeply passionate about. Abigail works with making sure that veterans from World War II get their compensation,' she said.

'The fact that she is so passionate about what she does allows her to be able to relate to me on that level, that I'm so dedicated to what I do.'

Among the other party-goers was rising country star Kelsea Ballerini, whose song Love Me Like You Mean It was given a huge boost when the Shake It Off singer tweeted that she was listening to it over and over.

'Driving around with the @KelseaBallerini EP on repeat.. SO lovely:)' Taylor wrote on March 9.

'That just made my year,' Kelsea tweeted back.

Getting her idol's seal of approval also presumably came with an invitation to join her at Abigail's party where Kelsea, 21, was pictured wearing a gold cone-shaped hat with 'Happy Birthday' written on it as Taylor wrapped her arms around her neck.

A little celebrity glitter: Also joining Abigail and Taylor were model Lily Aldridge, center, her brother Caleb Followhill and his brothers and cousin who make up the band Kings Of Leon, and Austin Swift

Other celebrity guests included model Lily Aldridge, her husband  Caleb Followill and his Kings of Leon bandmates, brothers Jason and Nathan and cousin Matthew.

Taylor's younger brother Austin, 23,  also joined the 'Nashville squad', as his sister called the group of friends.

Absent from the festivities was Taylor's rumored new boyfriend, Scottish DJ Calvin Harris.

The pair set social media on fire when they went to a Haim concert together at the Troubadour in Los Angeles on Thursday night.

At one point, Calvin, 31, was seen with his arms around Taylor's waist, seeming to confirm their new romance.
