Jennifer Lawrence returns to work on movie set just hours after reuniting with Chris Martin for a romantic Easter Sunday

Hard working Jennifer Lawrence was back on the set of the film Joy in Boston on Monday after a short but romantic reunion with Chris Martin.

The actress, 24, and the Coldplay frontman, 38, spent Easter Sunday together, meeting for brunch and a stroll in Central Park, according to Us Weekly, before flying out of New Jersey's Teterboro airport in a private jet.

But it was back to work bright and early the next morning for Jennifer, who was seen walking down a gangplank at a North Massachusetts marina to film a sailboat scene.

Jennifer wore a black parka with a fur-lined hood over a shirt and khaki pants as she walked down the gangplank, holding on to a rail with one hand and carrying a phone and a book in the other.

She was wearing her character's dark blonde wig and appeared focused and deep in thought as she followed a production assistant down to the sail boat.

Joy is her third collaboration with Russell and her fourth film with co-star Bradley Cooper and tells the story of a woman who rises to become the matriarch of a powerful business dynasty.

Sunday marked the first time that the Oscar-winning star of silver Linings Playbook and the musician ex of Gwyneth Paltrow had been seen in public since they went together to Harry Styles' 21st birthday bash in LA on January 31.

Us Weekly reported Monday that the on-again couple met up at Tavern On The Green where they shared a romantic brunch.

 According to an eye-witness who saw them at the restaurant, they arrived separately.

Jennifer got their first and 'waited in her car for a little bit before moving into the restaurant with her bodyguard. Then Chris got there. They made it a quick lunch. She had a roast beef sandwich and he had eggs Benedict.'

According to the observer, the two 'were whispering to each other and giggling.'

After their meal, the loved-up pair left the restaurant holding hands and went for a stroll though Strawberry Fields, Central Park's 2.5 acre memorial to John Lennon.

The couple are believed to have started dating around the time that Chris and Gwyneth announced their 'conscious uncoupling' in March 2014.

Their crazy work schedules led them to take a break last October but it's clear now the romance is still moving full steam ahead.

The get together in the Big Apple came after Chris returned from a spring break vacation in Mexico with Gwyneth and their two children Apple and Moses,

The uncouple pair had looked happy and relaxed as they spent time together while their kids played with friends prompting speculation about a possible reunion.

But it's clear now where Chris's romantic affections lie even though he and the American Hustle star clearly still have trouble finding time to be together because of their career, and in Chris' case family, commitments.

Meanwhile, Gywneth, 42,  is also publicly moving on, confirming her new relationship with Glee and American Horror Story producer Brad Falchuk, 44.

The pair arrived together for Robert Downey Jr's 50th birthday party on Saturday.

Brad was seen with his arm around the Shakespeare In Love star as they entered Barker Hanger in Santa Monica and joined other celebrity guests including Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux and Orlando Bloom.
