Even Vampire Slayers need a pick-me-up from time to time, and actress Sarah Michelle Gellar got hers when she stopped for coffee in Los Angeles on Monday.

The Buffy star looked bright and radiant as she enjoyed a sunny girly day out with her adorable mini-me daughter, Charlotte.

The pair held hands and Sarah Michelle looked the epitome of doting mother she stopped off at Alfred Coffee and Kitchen with her leading lady.

Girlie day out: Sarah Michelle Gellar went to a coffee shop for lunch with her five-year-old daughter Charlotte on Monday in Los Angeles

The 37-year-old actress kept it casual in a pale cream-coloured top and light skinny style jeans.

She pulled her blonde hair back into a ponytail, and wore metal rimmed sun-glasses.

The Crazy Ones star completed her look with a patterned over-size beige bag with brown handles and light-grey ankle boots.

The vampire layer: The 37-year-old mom and her daughter wore long-sleeves and held hands as they enjoyed their time together

The duo looked to be enjoying their quality time together, as they entered the coffee shop during five-year-old Charlotte's spring break from school.

Although not a television regular since her last series, The Crazy Ones, was cancelled in the spring of 2014, Sarah has kept very busy.

She starred in the show alongside the late Robin Williams.

In addition to being the mother of two young children - Charlotte and two-year-old Rocky - the actress just signed on to voice a character on the second season of Star Wars Rebels.

The animated series also features voice work by her husband, actor Freddie Prince Jr.

The couple married in Mexico in 2002 after meeting on the set of teen horror flick I Know What You Did Last Summer.
