She didn’t make the McBusted Kiss Cam, but Ellie Goulding made up for it by indulging in a playful smooch on Monday evening.

The 28-year-old was on hand to watch boyfriend Dougie Poynter take to the stage with his band-mates at the O2 Arena in London – venue for the latest show on McBusted’s Most Excellent Adventure Tour.

But while the tattooed bassist delighted fans at the 20,000 capacity arena, Ellie and pal Georgia Jones – the model wife of guitarist Danny Jones – leaned in for a mock-passionate kiss.

Sharing a snap of the moment with her Instagram followers, Ellie wrote: ‘Me and @georgia_f_jones can’t BELIEVE we didn’t achieve our dream of being on the Mcbusted kiss cam AGAIN. So here’s our own. You’re welcome.’

The singer was referring to the super-group’s fondness for inviting couple’s to kiss on camera, with the image subsequently displayed on a large screen behind the stage.

Fitness fanatic Ellie – who has been dating Dougie, 27, since last March – later shared a post work-out snap with her boyfriend.

Once again sharing on Instagram, the hit-maker is seen taking the selfie while sitting cross-legged next to a shirtless Dougie, whose impressive array of inkings are on full display.

Captioning the shot, she wrote: ‘Gym nobs.’

Danny has plenty to smile about after reportedly netting a huge sum to perform at the 18th birthday of Sofia Abramovich - the daughter of oil tycoon Roman Abramovich.

Roman, who is worth £8.6billion, treated daughter Sofia to a performance by the group at her party, which was held at the Under The Bridge nightclub at Chelsea FC's Stamford Bridge ground.

It is thought that around 500 guests turned up for the party although the Russian oligarch, who paid a reported £30,000 for the band's services, did not attend.

A guest told The Sun: 'Sofia got on stage with McBusted and they played all their classic and got everyone going.. It was very extravagant and flashy.'
