Sparks will fly! The Flash kisses his crime fighting friend Firestorm's fiance in new trailer shown at WonderCon

He is the fastest man on Earth who uses his speed to fight crime.

However, when The Flash is unmasked, he is as swift on his feet as he is with his lips.

Barry Allen, whose alter ego is The Flash, shared a romantic kiss with Dr. Caitlin Snow - the fiance of Firestorm, it was revealed in a trailer for the CW series that debuted on Sunday at WonderCon.

And it does not put a damper on the wedding day, as images have emerged from a future episode that show Dr. Caitlin Snow, played by Danielle Panabaker, walking down the aisle with Robbie Amell as Firestorm.

Played by actor Grant Gustin, the transgression is the least of Barry's worries as he is also seen donning his Flash costume to fight detective Eddie Thawne (actor Rick Cosnett), also a friend.

Curiously, The Flash also has a stand-off with himself in the new teaser.

However, there seems to be an explanation for the unusual behavior, which has been hinted and will later be explained in the series.

Indeed, The Flash's doppelganger is Hannibal Bates, a metahuman who can change his appearance into anyone he touches.

The plot point helps to resolve why detective Eddie shot two police officers.

The rouge character was first introduced in The Flash's sister series The Arrow, which stars Stephen Amell as the titular super hero.

Hunky actors Stephen, The Arrow, and Robbie, Firestorm, are cousins.

The Flash enlists The Arrow to mount an attack against his villain the Reverse-Flash, who until recently was revealed to him as his former mentor Dr. Harrison Wells.
