'A year ago today and I miss you with all of my being': Fifi Geldof shares school picture with late sister Peaches on the anniversary of her death

Twelve months ago, Peaches Geldof was found dead at her family home, leaving behind a husband, two sons and a family bereft by her passing.

On Tuesday morning, her older sister Fifi commemorated her death by posting an old school photo of the two of them to her Instagram page.

'A year ago today and I miss you with all of my being,' Geldof, 31, captioned the throwback photo.

Fifi posted the same school photo on what would have been Peaches' 26th birthday on March 13th with the caption: ‘Thinking of her on her 26th birthday. Love you, wherever you are.’

Peaches died last April from a heroin overdose, leaving her husband to raise their two young sons.

Fifi, who is to marry sand artist Andrew ‘Sandy’ Robertson in the summer, has vowed not to ask her other younger sister, 24-year-old Pixie, to be a bridesmaid out of respect for their late sibling.

Their father, Sir Bob Geldof, is also planning to wed his long-term partner Jeanne Marine this summer, according to reports.

The Boomtown Rats star has reportedly decided to marry in the same church where funerals for his daughter Peaches and his ex-wife Paula Yates took place.

The Sunday People write that Bob and French actress Jeanne have chosen the St Mary Magdalene & St Lawrence Church near their home in Faversham, Kent for its importance to the family.

Bob, 63 and Jeanne, 49 are said to be planning a ceremony in August in the pretty chapel that also played host to the wedding of the singer's daughter Peaches, and Bob's own marriage blessing to Peaches' mum, Paula Yates in 1986.

The wedding will come just a few months after Bob and his family mark the first anniversary of Peaches' death next week.

Mail Online has contacted a representative for Geldof for comment.

It's thought the star is planning to keep his wedding celebrations 'low-key', with just a small gathering of celebrity friends, in contrast to the star-studded guest list of his first wedding to Paula.

Bob and Paula married in Las Vegas after a decade together, celebrating with a blessing at the St Mary Magdalene & St Lawrence Church and a party at their nearby home.

Bob's 25-year-old daughter married her partner Thomas Cohen at the church in 2012.

For his second wedding, the Live Aid founder is thought to want something small and intimate, with a ceremony conducted by the Rev Tracey Bateson, who also led Peaches’ funeral service last April.

Bob and Jeanne have been dating since the star split from Paula in 1996, with his first wife dying of a heroin overdose four years later.

Actress Jeanne met Geldof at a Paris dinner party, where the singer had fled in a fit of depression over his divorce.

‘I liked his elegance and his Irishness,’ she later said. ‘Bob is exactly the kind of man I’ve always been waiting for. He’s compassionate, charming, intelligent and, on top of that, good-looking. He’s the most handsome man in the world and I adore him.’

Geldof returned the compliment: ‘Jeanne insisted on finding something lovable in this most unlovable of men. This creature at his most ugly, physically and spiritually. I was detestable.’

Their wedding won't be the only family celebration this year, as Bob's 32-year-old daughter Fifi Trixibelle is reported to be marrying her fiance Andrew Robertson just weeks before her dad's ceremony.
