'So many people are so full of it': Kristen Stewart explains why she is disillusioned with fame and reveals she isn't bothered about winning an Oscar
Kristen Stewart might be known by most of the world as the star of the incredibly successful Twilight movies, but her heart has been elsewhere.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the 24-year-old actress made it clear that her success in serious films like Clouds Of Sils Maria have meant more to her than big-budget successes.
She even jokingly said she 'would prefer a French Oscar' to an Academy Award.

Anti-celebrity: Kristen Stewart, who recently won the 'French Oscar,' said in a recent interview that she wasn't interested in celebrity
'I've never, ever been like,'One day, I'm gonna win an Oscar,' ' Kristen said in the interview published on Monday.
Instead, Kristen made it clear that she was in acting - her career since the age of nine - for the work and for the idea that she might one day direct movies.
The actress was critical of the idea that celebrity was the goal of an acting career and wondered why society was so focused the famous.
More work and art: 'I've never ever been like, One day, I'm gonna win an Oscar,' said the actress, who won France's equivalent in March for Clouds Of Sils Maria
'Why aren't we [as a society] mentioning the fact that it's so crazy that there are so many people that are so full of it?' Kristen asked in the interview. 'And why are we consuming them en masse?'
Her theory went back to the money involved in pushing celebrity on society.
'If you think about the source of it all, which is really the big, big, big green monster of cash, there's just no way that that's stopping,' the actress said of fame.
'Big green monster': The target of much celebrity news herself, Kristen (above, with Twilight co-star and then-boyfriend Robert Pattinson in 2012) thought that there was too much money in celebrity fascination to stop it
'It's a new industry - celebrity news is a whole new form of entertainment - and it's a huge, booming, f***ing money-making industry, so why would it stop?' she asked.
After a few years of being in the celebrity spotlight - thanks both to Twilight and to her highly publicized romances with Robert Pattinson and director Rupert Sanders - Kristen seemed relieved that her career has turned toward less attention and more artistic work.
For Clouds Of Sils Maria, Kristen co-starred with Juliette Binoche and Chloe Grace Moretz in the French-produced film.
The story focuses on a movie star who returns to the theatrical performance that once made her famous, confronting the idea of celebrity in the meantime.

Kristen's role earned widespread critical praise and, in March, won her the Cesar Award - that 'French Oscar' she mentioned.
'Oh man, it blew my head off, to be honest,' Kristen admitted. 'I couldn't believe that I got nominated, and then obviously I really, really couldn't believe that they gave it to me.'
With her win, Kristen became the first American woman - and only the second American actor, after The Pianist's Adrien Brody - to take the Cesar.

Kristin dazzles in Chanel Spring 2015 Couture at Cesar Awards
In the twilight, Kristin certainly cleans up from her usual jeans and tee off-duty look in this Chanel Spring 2015 Couture ball gown. Dressed in the penultimate Parisian designer, she shines spectacularly at the Paris based Cesar Awards.
While white strapless gowns can often be mistaken as a debutante or wedding dress, the way Kristin paired it with the double belt and T-strap shoes makes it edgey. This kind of gown is perfect for any charity benefit. We would do same as Kristin and balance out the ultra feminine layers of silk scallops by throwing on a leather jacket and some aggressive studded pumps.
While Chanel couture will set one back about the price of an automobile, we found several options that are just as delicate and dainty. Check then out below.
The movie, in Kristen's opinion also showed the differences between filmmaking in Europe and in Hollywood.
'They make movies because they have a compulsion to tell certain stories,' she said. 'They don't make movies to become rich and famous.'
'That is a huge, massive divide between European and American cinema.'
Clouds Of Sils Maria opens widely in North America on Friday.
