After spending the past several weeks filming her upcoming TV show, Scream Queens, in New Orleans, Lea Michele is enjoying some downtime back in Los Angeles.

The 28-year-old actress looked relaxed as she stepped out make-up free for a casual dinner date with her former Glee co-star Becca Tobin at popular sushi restaurant Sugarfish on Monday.

Going make-up free for the excursion, Lea stepped out in a black ensemble, consisting of a jacket, leggings and a pair of loafers, while she wrapped up in a chunky-knit blue scarf.

Lea Michele nailed the off duty look with her chic Saint Laurent Sac de Jour.

The Glee star carried her tote casually over one arm, although the versatile style can also be worn as a cross-body bag.

Lea's look was hip from head to toe. She wore an all black ensemble that consisted of black loafers and leggings. An oversized blue knit scarf completed the look, worn wrapped loosely around her neck.

The Sac de Jour is so stylish that it works great from day to night. Angelina Jolie, Kate Moss and Reese Witherspoon are also proud owners of the must-have item.

Her glossy, chestnut brown tresses tied back, she toted a black handbag as she chatted with her pal on their way into the eatery.

Becca, meanwhile, also took a casual approach to her choice of wardrobe, throwing a denim shirt over a white top, teamed with back jogging bottoms, monochrome trainers and a baseball cap.

As her stint on Glee came to an end, Lea signed up to appear in Scream Queens and began shooting scenes for the show in new Orleans in March.

And between working, the star - currently dating Matthew Paetz - has been diligently keeping up with her fitness regime, and sharing the results on social media.

Lea has previously talked about her diet and exercise, admitting she feels her best when she's on top of her fitness.

'Working out for me is something I do when I feel like it,’ she told Shape Magazine. 'But it’s really about feeling good and taking care of my body rather than having to fit into any sort of model or anything like that.

Meanwhile, Lea has been splitting her time between Hollywood and New Orleans recently where she is filming the new television series, which follows the life of a group of students whose college is rocked by a series of murders.

Created by Glee's Ryan Murphy, the series also stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Abigail Breslin and Nick Jonas.
