Scott Eastwood looked on top of the world on Thursday while promoting his new film The Longest Ride with co-star Britt Robertson in New York City.

The 29-year-old leading man and his 24-year-old co-star took it to new heights as they promoted the romantic drama atop the 102-story Empire State Building.

Scott kept it casual in an untucked denim shirt with the sleeves rolled up, black jeans and blue sneakers.

Skyscraper: Scott Eastwood and Britt Robertson promoted The Longest Ride on Thursday at the Empire State Building in New York City

The son of 84-year-old Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood sported a light beard as he teamed up with Britt.

She wore a short grey Markus Lupfer floral print dress and cropped leather jacket along with shiny black ankle boots.

Britt had her long blonde hair down and wore just a hint of natural make-up.

Scott and Britt have been making the rounds promoting the romance film based on a Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name.

In his first major leading man role, Scott portrays former champion bull rider Luke Collins who aims to make a comeback.

His relationship with girlfriend Sophia Danko, played by Britt, gets put to the test though as she is about to pursue her dream career in New York City's art world scene.

Scott appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night and shared a clip of himself attempting to bull ride and posted a link on Thursday to the YouTube video.

The actor wore a heavily padded vest and a protective helmet and confessed to being nervous before his ride atop a 1,800-pound bull.

'I'm an idiot,' Scott laughed before his ride.

He was quickly bucked and while on the ground was nearly kicked in the head by the swinging bull.

Scott and Britt on Wednesday also promoted their film on NBC's Today Show.

The actor admitted on the show that he cries while watching The Notebook, another novel by Sparks that was adapted into a popular film.

'I did cry at The Notebook. I cry every time it's on,' Scott said.

The Longest Ride hits theatres on Friday and had its Hollywood premiere on Tuesday, where Scott was joined by his half-sisters, Francesca Eastwood, 21, and Alison Eastwood, 42.

Scott also has a younger sister, Kathryn, 27, and half-siblings Kimber, 50, Kyle, 46, and Morgan, 18, from his father's other relationships.

Scott and Kathryn were born of an affair Clint had with their mother, flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves, in the mid-eighties, while he was dating another woman, actress Sondra Locke.
