'It was kind of weird and cool': Miley Cyrus' sister Noah, 15, poses in gruesomely vivid ad for PETA to protest animal dissection

Like her twerking older sibling, Noah Cyrus isn't one to hold back.

Miley's 15-year-old little sister is sending shock waves to the system by starring in a gruesomely visceral ad for PETA and it's teen-targeted peta2 to protest animal dissection in the classroom.

Thanks to digital magic, the ad shows a corpse-like Noah lying on a table with her chest cracked open and peeled away to expose ribs, lungs and other organs - an effect that Noah later described as 'kind of weird' and 'cool' in a behind-the-scenes video.

The photo mimics a common practice in high school biology class where small and even unborn animals are dissected for scientific learning purposes.

Noah, an animal lover, hopes to encourage students to speak up and refuse the scalpel.

'Because I love all animals so much, people I feel they should realise they don't have to cut into something to learn about it (sic),' Noah said in the accompanying video.

'Weird and cool': Noah said of the digitally detailed ad, 'It kind of was weird being on the table and getting the feeling of about to be cut open. I think it's so cool how dark it is'

'It kind of was weird being on the table and getting the feeling of about to be cut open. I think it's so cool how dark it is,' she said of the advertisement.

The message reads: 'I Am NOT A Classroom Experiment. Neither are cats, frogs, rats, pigs, or other animals killed for dissection. Please choose not to dissect.'

Noah's eyes are open in the ad and, in contrast to her deathly pale skin, her hair is a vibrant coppery red, perhaps an allusion to blood.

Lying on the table above her head is a biology book and a tray of surgical instruments.

'If you feel weird dissecting something, say no,' Noah said. 'I would totally say, I'm not cutting into this animal. I would never do that.'

Noah said that students can learn just as much off the computer as they can from a dissection.

Noah and MIley are very close, so close that the 22-year-old pop star enlisted her younger sibling's help during her recent Bangerz tour.

Noah's job? To make sure Miley didn't reveal TOO much while cavorting on stage in those skimpy outfits.

'She does the dances with me the whole time,' Miley told HollywoodLife last year.

'Sometimes she’ll be doing them wrong and I’ll notice that I’m following her and I’m not doing the dance that I’m supposed to be doing. I’ll just be doing whatever she’s doing. So it’s fun, we just play with each other like the entire show.'
