Kim Kardashian is so desperate to have baby number two with Kanye West that she had her uterus 'cleaned out'.

On the latest episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians the reality star, 34, underwent a procedure to excavate her internal organ – thus improving her chances of conceiving.

During the operation the reproductive surgeon found 'some old placenta' from Kim's pregnancy with daughter North West.

'There is nothing more that I want on this earth than to be pregnant again,' enthused Kim, who was very reluctant to consider the option of a surrogate.

'That really is a last resort for me,' she said.

'Kourtney would probably do it,' suggested her mother Kris Jenner.

After a successful medial procedure the medic, Dr. Huang, showed Kris some 'before and after' pictures of Kim's uterus.
