'I don't think I can do it': Suzanne Somers nearly quits Dancing With The Stars before she's eliminated during Disney theme night

Suzanne Somers learned the hard way on Monday night to watch what you wish for on Dancing With The Stars.

The former fitness guru went into the latest round of the TV dance competition show admitting she felt like throwing in the towel - and then ended it by going home anyway as the latest competitor voted off.

On a night when Hollywood superstars Bruce Willis and Demi Moore excitedly cheered on daughter Rumer to the highest score of the night, Suzanne made an emotional exit from the show despite being praised by the judges for giving her best performance so far.

And after the 67-year-old Three's Company actress proudly said she met her main aim of proving that a woman in her late 60s could 'make the ballroom feel her own', she added with a laugh: 'And I think all women my age should go on hormones.'

But she soon cracked with emotion as she praised pro partner Tony Dovolani, whose two young daughters rushed onto the stage to hug him as he prepared to leave.

'He is a gentleman, and he gave me everything he had - and I so love this,' Suzanne said, not finishing the sentence as she looked around the room seemingly fighting back tears.

Her exit came as the judges praised her jazz routine as her best yet, even though she had a mishap with her heel catching in her skirt, with Carrie Ann Inaba calling her 'mature, beautiful, classy, elegant and sexy graceful'.

But her joy was a far cry from the obvious frustration she had in rehearsals - with her appearing close to quitting as her emotions overwhelmed her.

'I don't think I can do it - I don't think I can stay with the show,' Suzanne admitted to Tony, seemingly being serious and sincere at that moment.

'I just can't do this. I'm just too lousy at it - I hate it,' she said.

'You don't seem like a quitter to me,' Tony assured her, praising her for 'giving me, every single day, you're best'.

'Little bump - no problem. We'll fix it,' he told her, obviously unaware that their time on the show was fast running out.

As the competitors all performed in character to songs from famous Disney movies, the clear stand-out was Rumer Willis who scored the highest score of the night - just as she had done on the opening night of the season.

And just like then, she was cheered on by her family, with Bruce Willis and his wife Emma Heming joining Rumer's mum, his ex-wife Demi Moore, and their other two daughters Scout and Tallulah in wildly clapping and cheering their support.

The judges seemed equally as thrilled with her samba to Poor Unfortunate Souls, giving her a 39 - with only Len Goodman's 9 failing to give her a perfect score.

After calling her 'the sexiest animated character on the planet', Julianne Hough - still with pink hair after dying it for the Coachella music festival - told Rumer: 'That was the best dance of the night.'

Carrie Ann told Rumer and pro partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy that their routine was 'sickly creative' and added: 'Out of this world and odd and weird - but it turned me on.'

'You are a fantastic dancer,' Len Goodman told her. 'That's it.'

Rumer - who practiced with Val in a swimming pool to get some of her elegant moves perfected - had deliberately asked to be a villain on Disney night, and was covered in purple body paint and a high blonde wig to play Ursula.

'I think every little girl now will want to play this hot, hot Ursula,' co-host Erin Andrews insisted.

Noah Galloway, the army sergeant who lost his left arm and leg during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005, failed to match the overwhelming impact his dance had the previous week - a performance host Tom Bergeron revealed has been watched 33.5 million times on Facebook.

His foxtrot dressed as Aladdin to the song It's a Whole New World got praise and all 7s from the judges, but Carrie Ann risked the boos from the audience as she admitted: 'I'm wanting to see a little bit more. I felt that in this dance we were lacking just a tad bit of content.'

However, she insisted he had 'captured the hearts and the imaginations of everyone out there', and Bruno also told Noah: 'Looking at you makes us all believe in magic.'

Perhaps surprisingly giving the overwhelming response to his previous performance, Noah had a crisis of confidence in rehearsals, getting emotional as he worried that moves looked 'crappy' because of his lack of a left knee.

'Suck it up, Princess,' pro partner Sharna Burgess teased him as his eyes reddened with emotion. 'I'm supposed to be the Princess in this number, not you.'

After his performance, Noah summed up Sharna's pep talk by saying: 'She told me to quit acting like a baby and I was like, “OK, yes ma'am”.'

But Noah's disappointment was nothing like that faced by Shark Tank star Robert Herjavec, who went from his unexpectedly high score last week to easily the lowest of the night this time round, getting just 6s from all four judges.

As all the judges cringed at admitting how out of time he had been in his quickstep to A Step In Time from Mary Poppins, Bruno finally teased him by saying: 'Time is a relative concept - in your own world you were perfectly in time, it's just that nobody else was.'

As rumors grow that Robert is in a romantic relationship with pro partner Kym Johnson, the cameras caught them sharing a powerfully intimate moment after their performance last week.

With Kym resting her arms on Robert's shoulder's as he looked longingly up into her eyes, he told her tenderly: 'Even if we went home tonight, it would have all been worth it, baby.'

Wiping away her tears, he then repeated the same sentence, with them both laughing that they 'don't think we're going anywhere - but it would all have been worth it.'

While most contestants saw dressing up in Disney costumes light-hearted fun, it appeared to have a powerfully transformative effect on rocker Riker Lynch who seemed to come alive completely as Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates Of The Caribbean.

Calling it 'one of my favorite movies of all time', he appeared to stay in character all night - and got the second highest score of the night with two 10s and two 9s for his Paso Doble.

'That was a beast of a Paso, and you slayed it!' Carrie Ann said excitedly. 'My favorite Paso ever - ever! Best, best ever!'

Julianne called the performance 'artistry', while Bruno called it 'mad and wonderful'.

His score was equalled by Nastia Liukin with the last dance of the night, with her performance to Love Is An Open Door from Frozen praised by Bruno as having 'captured the essence of the wonderful world of Disney'.

'There was nothing nothing frozen about that dance - that was like a warm hug on a cold evening,' Len told the Olympic gymnast. 'Nastia you showed us your sunny side and I loved it.'

The Bachelor star Chris Soules once again had a troubled week - this time leaving dance pro Witney Carson in tears as he snapped at her in rehearsals and also popping his calf during the final stage rehearsal, fearing he would not be able to perform.

He got a visit in rehearsals from last season's winner Alfonso Ribeiro - also partnered with Witney - who told him: 'It's not about the technique, it's the fun you're missing.'

After Chris performed a quickstep as Hercules, with his calf bandaged up, Julianne appeared to agree with Alfonso's assessment as Chris once again appeared near the bottom of the scoreboard with a 6 and three 7s.

Admitting that the judges had been 'really tough' on him in recent weeks, she warned Chris that he was not 'connecting and having fun'.

Carrie Ann told him: 'I actually thought this was your best performance by a long shot - and it's not easy to come out in a skirt and a silver headband.'

The Hunger Games star Willow Shields failed to match her near-perfect score from last week, but partner Mark Ballas did have one of the best costumes of the evening as the White Rabbit from Alice In Wonderland.

Despite not getting the 10s of last week - with two 9s and two 8s this time - Bruno still insisted she was 'a force to be reckoned with', telling her: 'It was haunting, it was powerful, and you acted it beautifully.'

'You've gone from Hunger Games to fun and games, and I must say it was so much fun,' Len added. 'Wonderful, creative dance.'

As the dance partners walked off they were handed carrots by the other contestants - with Mark admitting his costume stopped him being able to breathe through his nose.

Patti LaBelle, meanwhile, continued to struggle with her knee injury - but refused to make excuses for it.

'Noah has one leg. So let's be serious - the knee is nothing at all,' she told Erin who offered sympathy for the injury. 'God is good'

'You manage to sprinkle you're own little stardust around the room,' Bruno told Patti after her waltz to When You Wish Upon A Star from Pinocchio.

'When I watch you it's like watching the Fairy Godmother of Dancing With The Stars,' Carrie Ann added. 'You're always so elegant, and when you dance it's like listening to a lullaby - so soft, so smooth.'

Julianne, meanwhile, praised her 'magic' and said: 'Thank you for letting us experience the magic that is you.'
