'I'm so excited!': Josiah Duggar, 18, joins Instagram to introduce Marjorie Jackson, 17, who he's been courting

Shortly after Josiah Duggar revealed to the world that he had entered into a courtship, the young man joined Instagram to post the photo that proves it.

The 18-year-old reality star was seen posing next to 17-year-old Marjorie Jackson who held onto a bunch of flowers.

'I'm so excited to announce that I'm courting Marjorie Jackson!' the 19 Kids And Counting star wrote as a caption.

In the photo - originally posted to Instagram by Josiah's older sister, Jessa - the two Christian lovebirds smiled as they wore casually dressy clothing.

For Josiah, that meant a dark-coloured vest worn over a beige-and-white striped shirt.

Maroon trousers finished off the young man's clothing, while his short and blond hair showed a little curl.

Marjorie wore her dark blonde hair loose, falling in wavy curls well past the teen's shoulders.

Her dress was mostly green, with white and beige accents at the bottom of the skirt and at the cowl collar of her bodice.

His photo with Marjorie was only Josiah's second Instagram post after joining the social-media site over the weekend.

In the first photo, Josiah posted an image of a bumper sticker that read: 'Evil thrives when good people do nothing.'

According to an interview he gave with People, the new couple met when Josiah learned Spanish from Marjorie's mother, Analucia Jackson.

'It's been going very well,' Josiah said of his new courtship.

'I met Marjorie a few years ago, when I was taking Spanish lessons at her house and I was very impressed with the way she was with her siblings and her love for the Lord.'

'She really caught my eye,' added the young man, who has recently been working with his father's construction company.

Feelings seemed to be mutual, as Majorie told People: 'For me it was an immediate thing. I have always admired him and his family.'

Unlike most teenagers, Josiah and Marjorie will court each other instead of dating.

The two will spend time together with chaperones and are able to hold hands and hug - but kissing and other activities are not allowed until their wedding day.

Josiah's three married siblings - Josh, Jill, and Jessa - all found their spouses in this conservative manner.

Josiah's timing may have been fortuitous, as he and Marjorie officially began their courtship on April 6, the same day big sister Jill gave birth to her first child.

The eighth of the Duggars' 19 children, Josiah has had his life broadcast on reality television since the age of 12.
