Make-up free Michelle Keegan looks a little tired as she arrives on the set of her new film Strangeways Here We Come

She is due to be marrying Mark Wright in a month - and Michelle Keegan looked a little rushed off her feet when she stepped out on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old headed to the set of her new movie, Strangeways Here We Come in Manchester -and went without make-up as she prepared to get into the character of Demi.

Michelle was sporting a low-key look for her day in work, choosing a white hoodie with black Lipsy leggings and a simple plain top.

She wore Nike trainers and stuffed her belongings into a brown Mulberry Bayswater leather bag.

Despite her lack of make-up, Michelle looked incredibly fresh-faced, although a little tired as she made her way through the car park - no doubt she has been busy finalising her wedding plans.

The former Coronation Street actress appears to have been inundated with offers of work, appearing in BBC drama, Ordinary Lies and now the Stephen Lord produced comedy.

Elaine Cassidy, Misfits' Lauren Socha, Peter Caulfield and Nina Wadia – best known for playing Zainab Masood in EastEnders – also star in the comedy.

In a press release heralding the film, Stephen describes it as a 'brutal comedy drama' with 'a message of hope.'

On Monday, the pretty brunette tweeted about how well she was getting on in her new role.

The star took acting lessons in a bid to diversify her skills, and it seems they're paying off.

She told Radio Times magazine: 'I'm having more training, which I'm doing for confidence. I've been playing one character for over six years and I need to refresh.'
