He's currently in Shanghai for a series of promotional duties - and actor Benedict Cumberbatch made sure he had time for a little pampering session on Sunday evening.

The Imitation Game star, who is set to become a father for the first time, visited the Taipan Oriental Massage and Spa facility to no doubt enjoy some pampering treats.

The 38-year-old star showed off his new hairstyle as he left the building with his entourage, while wearing a smart suit and blue jacket.

Benedict is primarily thought to be in China to help promote the latest season of his hit TV show Sherlock, which will be released in December.

He is also involved with the UK-China Year Of Cultural Exchange.

The handsome chap has enjoyed a great year so far, which saw him get married to theatre director, Sophie Hunter on Valentine's day, with the pair expecting their first child later this year.

The couple began dating late in 2013, with their engagement revealed via a newspaper announcement in November 2014.

The star is currently working on CGI movie, The Jungle Book: Origins, in which he will provide the voice and the movements for Shere Khan.

He is also set to appear in upcoming movie, Flying Horse, a biopic of photographer Eadweard Muybridge, following the courtship and love affair between his wife, Flora, and Harry Larkyns.
