It seems Amy Adams has found one of her favourite spring looks, as she stepped out in the same exact outfit she was seen in a couple weeks ago.

The 40-year-old actress reprised her floral dress and denim jacket combo as she headed out in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.

The Big Eyes star looked fresh and breezy in the long black number with a skirt that billowed around her ankles as she walked.

The dress featured a smattering of purple blossoms that bloomed prominently around her chest.

She strut her stuff in brown wedge sandals and carried a little beige purse, while concealing her eyes behind cat-eye shades, with her hair swept back in a ponytail.

It was a solo outing for Amy, who spends a good deal of time with her fiancé Darren Le Gallo and their four-year-old daughter Aviana, who turns five in May.

Meanwhile, the flame-haired beauty is gearing up to star in the 2016 sci-fi flick, Story Of Your Life, which is currently in pre-production.

In it, Amy plays an expert linguist who is recruited by the military after alien crafts have landed around the world.

She must determine whether they come in peace or are a threat.

Amy can also be seen reprising her role as Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane in the 2016 flick Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Zack Snyder will helm the highly-anticipated film alongside Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman.

It seems Amy's daughter Aviana may not be following in her famous footsteps.

'[Aviana] wants to be a doctor and I support that,' the mother-of-one told Moviefone in December.

'If she wants to be something else, I'd support that too. But since she was two, she's been, "I want to be a doctor. I want to help people." It's very sweet.'
