UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey has spoken at length about a potential WWE return, and with a WWE Hall of Famer, no less.

“The second I left, I was already thinking, ‘How can I possibly go back?’” Rousey confessed on Roddy Piper’s “Piper’s Pit” podcast, in an episode that touched upon her upcoming title defense and the ins and outs of her WrestleMania debut.

Rousey’s appearance at WrestleMania 31, where she went from sideline spectator to surprise guest, ignited speculation among sports and mainstream media that she’s eventually bound for an official match in the squared circle. While Rousey insisted she’s focused on defending her championship against the Brazilian fighter Bethe Correia later this summer, she did give some in-depth insight on appearing at The Show of Shows, where she served as backup muscle to The Rock during his in-ring confrontation with The Authority.

“It’s a very tricky thing [working with] him,” Rousey said of her “Furious 7” co-star. “He’s so bright and he holds the room so well it’s hard to not be outshone by him.”

Adding to the pressure was the presence of Triple H, whose history with The People’s Champion is well-known by sports-entertainment (and mixed-martial arts) fans. “That’s a lot of pressure to be able to be captivating enough to ignore those two.”

Having succeeded by all accounts, Rousey was left with one inescapable takeaway from the experience: “There’s no way I can’t not go back in there again. There’s no way.”
