Cara Delevingne puts on a leggy display in a thigh-skimming black and gold jacket as she leads the supermodel pack at Burberry fashion event
It was something of a British invasion on the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles on Thursday night, as Burberry took over the venue to a host a star-studded party in celebration of their English roots.
And leading the march for the brand was one of its muses Cara Delevingne, who brought a touch of 18th century military style to proceedings.
The model-turned-actress arrived in a black and gold statement jacket with her lithe legs standing to attention in a pair of peep-toe lace-up boots.

Get legs like a supermodel in Cara's Burberry boots
Guests at the Burberry London In Los Angeles event included the Beckhams, Mila Kunis, Rachel Zoe and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. But no show by the British brand would be complete without Cara Delevingne!
She rocked up wearing an on trend military-inspired jacket, which she teamed with these black lace up ankle boots and very little else! They're by Burberry of course, and we've spotted her wearing them several times before. It's no wonder she lives in them!
The lace up style is perfectly on trend and the platform makes her supermodel legs look like they last for miles. Plus, these peep toes are super versatile - at the BRIT Awards Cara teamed them with a lace dress, but they're the perfect thing to style up skinny jeans too. They'll bridge the gap from winter ankle boots to barely there sandals this summer, so show off those toes and click the link (right) to buy them now.
But if your budget is holding you back, look no further than our edit below.
Cara wore a mini black dress underneath the military-inspired coat with a smokey eye make-up effect to match and her hair in loose waves.
Adding a red manicure, Delevingne certainly reminded those present just why she's been voted British Model of the Year twice.
Inside the event she caught up with a host of celebrity names, and even stopped to take a picture with Brooklyn Beckham.

Ahead of the fashionable shindig the model Cara helped Burberry make a big impact in their first Snapchat post, by posing for them in her bathroom.
The intimate shots show Cara is bed reading and pulling some of her signature silly faces.
Cara is no stranger to social media, so it is no surprise to have seen her befriend the Kardashian family, who are known for their staggering output of tweets and selfies.

Asked her favourite Kardashian by Entertainment Tonight, Cara revealed last week: 'Oh I can't do that. I mean, Kendall... but I love the whole family, I can't really pick one.'
Cara has previously joked she considers herself a member of the family.
Posting a picture of herself with Kendall and Khloe on Instagram, she previously wrote: "I am Cara with a K now hehehe! #KARA (sic)'
And sharing a photo of her own, Khloe previously wrote:
'Introducing Cara with a K!!!! She is now Kara everyone!!!! Woooohoooooooo.(sic)'
Hello! The surprise appearance is to help promote Burberry's London in Los Angeles event, taking place this Thursday which will be held at the iconic Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles

Cara grew close to the Kardashian family following the death of her beloved grandmother.
A source said in February: 'Her grandmother died last month, which has been particularly tough for her - not least because she hadn't been home much in the weeks leading up to it.
'Kendall picked up on all of that - she's good at reading people - and went out of her way to introduce her to the whole Kardashian family. Of course, with Cara's natural charisma, they loved her from the word go, and they're very protective of her.
'Nowadays, it's like they've practically adopted her.'
