The 28-year-old actress looked amazing in a fuchsia and black dress perfect for the spring evening.

With her hair swept into a chic updo, the actress looked very polished and ready for her red carpet close up.

With the dress already making such a statement, the star wore virtually no jewellery with the outfit, other than a pair of stud earrings.

As for the dress, it was a delicately panelled fuchsia colour, patterned unobtrusively with purple and pink roses.

About halfway down the skirt, the fabric abruptly transitioned into a black lace that ended just above the knee.

For shoes, Dianna wore pointed black Mary Jane heels and she completed the look with a pink-and-black, boxy clutch.

Best-known for playing cheerleader Quinn Fabray in Glee since 2009, Dianna has also appeared in movies like I Am Number Four and The Family.

Minimal additions: With a dress as fancy as hers, Dianna stuck with light, pink-hued makeup and simple stud earrings instead of extra jewellery

Next up for the actress is a role on the London stage in Theatreland, a play about designer Alexander McQueen.

Dianna began rehearsals on March 30 for the play - which premieres on May 12.

Starring alongside British actor Stephen Wright (as McQueen), Dianna will play Dahlia, a fashion lover who spies on the famous designer's house before stealing one of McQueen's dresses for herself.
