Alessandra Ambrosio was rocking the latest Seventies trend when she hit the beach with her children on Saturday.

The 34-year-old Victoria's Secret Angel was pictured wearing a sexy pair of flared dungarees over a white off-the-shoulder number in Santa Monica, California.

Flares are the season's key trend and trendsetter Ambrosio looked wonderful in her take on the style.

A day at the beach was no different for the brunette beauty. She was spotted out in an off the shoulder white top, mirrored shades, and dark wash overalls.

Overalls are definitely back this season, and are a far cry from the pair you rocked in the nineties. Nope. The cut this season is all about form-fitting and sexy, with a bit of that 70's "flare" that is on trend.

The lovely lady started her day going for brunch with pals, including her two children Anja, six, and Noah, two, before making her way down to the idyllic sands.

She wore her hair up in a messy plait and wore reflective aviator shades, topping off her look with a pair of Chanel espadrilles.

Alessandra held hands with her little boy and snapped photos of him on her phone, as the delighted little chap swung a white basket bag around with glee.

She later cooed over a pal's baby peering into its pushchair to interact with the cutie.

No doubt the stunning brunette is thrilled to be spending some quality time with her children, following her jaunt to the Coachella festival the weekend before.

Alessandra was spotted the last week of March, filming the sequel to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.

Will starred in the 2014 reboot of the Ninja Turtles franchise along with Megan Fox who also will be reprising her role of April O'Neil in the sequel.
