Barefaced beauty Zoe Saldana displays her slender post-baby curves in skintight gymwear as she heads to a work out

Zoe Saldana has admitted to feeling pressure to be strong and in shape again for her upcoming acting projects.

The 36-year-old actress, who welcomed twin boys with husband Marco Perego in November 2014, has been on a 'painful' mission to regain her slender shape and was seen looking yet more trim on Thursday when she hit the gym for another work out.

Two months into her body transformation, and with two months to get back to work, the brunette beauty went all in for the session, going make-up free in streamlined work out gear when she headed out in Los Angeles.

The brunette beauty displayed her immaculate complexion when she went barefaced while chatting on the phone.

She scraped her hair into a high ponytail for ease and slipped on a pair of running shoes with her pastel running wear for the session with her trainer.

Saldana is due to start filming Star Trek 3 and Live by Night later this year, with the former expected as soon as this spring.

Since having her babies Cy and Bowie, the brunette has been on a personal mission to regain her impeccable shape.

She opened up to followers of her official Facebook page last Friday, admitting that her journey has been 'REAL' and feels nigh on 'impossible'.

In the hope of finding women who can relate, Zoe said that while pregnancy was 'by far the most amazing experience' of her life it was also 'a very challenging experience' when it came to her body.

Painful: Zoe has admitted that getting back to her pre-baby body has been slow and painful

She said: 'Your body changes dramatically, inside and out. You grow in places you never knew you could, and you are tired beyond belief.'

'Bouncing back feels impossible,' Saldana added. 'But I know it is important as a woman, and now a mommy, to not give up. I am determined to get my energy back and find balance for my body before these little guys start walking, and before I go back to work..... my clock is ticking!'

The actress revealed that she was 160lbs at the start of her weight loss transformation and 185lbs at the peak of her pregnancy.

She said: 'I had no flexibility, weak joints, and exercising was painful. We started with just walking, I think I only walked that first month. I did however change the way I eat. I began to make better choices with my food.'

Now Saldana says the 'clock is ticking' on her return to filming and already has five projects lined up for the next two years, including a second, third and fourth part to the Avatar franchise.

The mum-of-two has previously been locked up in baby mania since the arrival of her sons and will soon be balancing the two roles.
