Shady lady! Renee Zellweger takes cover behind her sunglasses while supporting her boyfriend Doyle Bramhall at Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame

Renee Zellweger took some grief over rumours of plastic surgery recently, and she wasn't hard to spot when she attended the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Saturday either.

The 45-year-old actress hid much of her face behind sunglasses and wore a black outfit that blended in with many of the rockers at the event.

Her look partially hidden from scrutiny, Renee offered plenty of smiles as she attended the Cleveland, Ohio event with her boyfriend, musician Doyle Bramhall II, 46.

Her blonde hair piled high on her head, Renee kept things simple with her shades and natural-toned makeup.

She wore a dressing gown-style black wrap of rumpled silk, tied with a large black bow at the waist.

Underneath, the Bridget Jones' Diary actress had a short sheath dress that reached to mid-thigh.

Get a little bit rock and roll in Renee's Ray-Ban shades

Renee Zellweger is clearly highly experienced at being the girlfriend of a rock star, or at least she certainly looked the part at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The actress wore a silky, loosely wrapped, kimono style jacket with an oversized black Hermes Kelly bag and a pitch-black pair of Ray-Ban wayfarers. Wayfarers are a classic aesthetic for a reason. Pretty much every single badass rocker throughout time has worn a pair of these bad boys and looked remarkably tough doing so. This style may be ubiquitous now, but Ray-Ban is the originator of this particular brand of cool.

This is a permanently classic style, so of course, they're still available for purchase and are pretty affordable (especially compared to most designer shades!). If you've got to have the look but need it for a little less, our edit below is full of sale prices that will have you jamming out in no time flat!

Renee finished up the ensemble with extremely high heels and a black clutch.

As for Doyle - a guitarist known for performing with artists like Eric Clapton and Roger Waters - he stuck with the classic rocker outfit of casual, black layers.

Only a black-and-white scarf and the musician's wildly curling hair added notable features to the look.

Although very private about their relationship, Renee and Doyle have been dating for about two years.

Almost five years after her last movie role, Renee hit the news again in October 2014, when her surprising appearance prompted speculation that the actress had gotten plastic surgery.

The actress was spotted at the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards with an unlined forehead, wider eyes, and somewhat puffy-looking face.

Renee quickly denied any plastic surgery, however, instead attributing the changes to 'a different, happy, more fulfilling life,' as she told People at the time.

'People don't know me [as] healthy for a while. Perhaps I look different. Who doesn't as they get older?! Ha. But I am different. I'm happy,' she insisted.

Whether her look was surgically derived or not, Renee did look very much like her old self when spotted without her glasses during the event on Saturday.

An Oscar winner for her supporting role in Cold Mountain, Renee was one of the biggest actresses of the 1990s and 2000s.

She took a break from acting after 2010 but will soon be seen in two films: 2015's The Whole Truth, opposite Keanu Reeves, and 2016's Same Kind Of Different As Me.

Back in the spotlight: After a five-year break from acting, Renee will return to the big screen in 2015 with The Whole Truth
