Up In The Air! George Clooney and Britt Robertson go for a flight in a bathtub in latest trailer for Disney's Tomorrowland

If George Clooney tells you to cram into a bathtub with him, of course it's a good idea.

The 53-year-old hunk and 25-year-old Britt Robertson launching through the roof of his house in his rocket-powered bathtub escape pod is just one of the bizarre scenes from Disney's latest thrilling trailer for Tomorrowland.

The film is about a former boy-genius inventor and 'a teen bursting with scientific curiosity' who travel to another dimension, and the new sneak peak shows the moment the two meet.

The clip reveals how Casey Newton is immediately transported to a futuristic location whenever she touches a mysterious pin that she found. But she appears to be still bound by the physical barriers in the real world - like when she tries to explore an expansive wheat field she has been transported to, and walks headfirst into a wall and is snapped back to reality.

She brings the curio to the unassuming home of reclusive Frank Walker to ask him about it.

'When I touched this pin, I saw this place. Someplace amazing, where you felt like anything was possible... and then it was gone,' she says.

The clip the takes a sinister turn, when an alarm sounds a squad of creepily smiling men pile out of a van outside the home and demand Walker give up the fugitive he is hiding.

We then discover the house is not what it appears to be, nor are the men who are attempting to get inside.

As Clooney grabs Robertson and flees through the house, he arms a series of technologically advanced booby traps such as magnetic walls and Resident Evil-inspired laser grids to slow their pursuers, who we find out when one has its arm chopped off are actually androids.

The two narrowly make it to the bathroom at the top of the house when Clooney reveals the home's most impressive trick yet.

'How is this a good idea?' Robertson asks as the two cram side by side into the bathtub, and immediately gets her answer as it launches through the roof and into the sky.
